Description
A "pixel art"-style mirror for all those with a fetish for graphic arts and Pop culture, for Toy addicts and, more generally, for all those who love unusual objects! Milan-based artist Roberto Bruno explores virtual aesthetics, transforming the frame of this mirror into a digital image. The many squares juxtaposed at different heights give rise to a highly original, unstructured form.

Roberto Bruno began his research career in the visual arts fascinated by digital aesthetics, giving life to a surrealist language with existential implications. He has notably created offbeat, ultra-innovative web applications for major brands: Nike, Prada, miu miu, Toiletpaper...
Mirror, mirror, who is the fairest in the kingdom? For Roberto Bruno, the mirror is a manifesto of the hedonistic, solipsistic age in which we live. With the Mirror Pixel, a surreal world is established, in complete antithesis to the contemporary image society. The Mirror Pixel becomes the witness of a magical world in which every illusion is possible.
The Mirror Pixel illustrates the constant dialogue between author and viewer that is an integral part of Roberto Bruno's artistic work. Everything changes, nothing stays the same, like this constantly evolving pixelated frame, which adapts to the angle of view. The viewer sees different pixels depending on his or her position. The image of the frame is reconstituted as one moves away, giving the Mirror an impression of relief and therefore of spatial reality.
The Pioxel Mirror frame is made of Lacquered MDF. Seletti's Pixel mirror brings an original presence to an entrance hall, living room, bathroom or bedroom...
