Plissé Insulated jug plastic material green / 1 L - Thermoplastic resin

The draped design of the Plissé family now adorns a new item of tableware. The thermos jug, designed by Michele de Lucchi, is the latest addition to this key collection; it employs the same crisp, geometric lines and clean design as other items in the series, resulting in an object that successfully balances technical constraints with high-performance and an haute-couture style elegance. This thermos jug keeps drinks hot for 12 hours or cold for 24 hours. It's ideal for home or office use, so you'll always have your favourite drink on hand. The Plissé collection, with its distinctive appearance and timeless shape, will delight design, art and fashion enthusiasts. These small, household appliances will delight all fans of contemporary design whose roots are anchored in our distant imaginations. Michele De Lucchi: "Through the skilful and creative use of pleating, fashion designers shape fabrics and create clothes like sculptural works of art. The idea of Plissé started with a simple sheet of paper and was developed by Alessi, as if designing a beautiful haute couture object. The folds give form to the shape, lending it structure, because a form without folds is just volume without shape. The folds transform simple two dimensional sheets into three dimensional objects." This jug consists of an outer shell and lid in thermoplastic resin with an inner, double-walled, thermal glass container. The lid has a stainless steel button for opening and closing. On the body there is a retractable button above the handle that opens the carafe and allows the removal of the inner container. To serve your drink, there's no need to unscrew or remove the lid. You just need to press the button on the top of the lid and pour. Press again to close and keep the liquid inside the jug as hot as possible. The special design of the spout means you can pour without dripping.
