Description
With its linear design, the Potence wall light graces the room with its colorful, graphic presence. The simple form, both enigmatic and playful, irresistibly attracts attention and stimulates the imagination. The bent Aluminium tube is reminiscent of an industrial pipe. The Opaline Glass globe punctuates the silhouette, providing soft, warm light. A style that's both whimsical and uncluttered. Everything superfluous is eliminated, leaving only the essentials. The Potence Wall light will not go unnoticed, but will become a centerpiece in your decor.
With its rudimentary curved shape, lost between a sense of regression and technical distinction, the tube is a powerful interpreter. Modulation dexterously rounds the corners, revealing graceful curves and reassuring shapes.
This sculptural masterpiece is handcrafted in Marseille.
Designer Axel Chay has succeeded in transforming a basic element (metal tube) into a sculptural, original and contemporary piece, while preserving the integrity of the original element. The Potence Wall light is pure design pleasure, where the delirium of design becomes real.
Axel Chay is a designer and co-creator of Nova Obiecta, a Marseille-based studio for contemporary objects founded in 2013. Ultra-creative with precise taste, Axel Chay designs contemporary pieces that are both utilitarian and sculptural, paying homage to kinetic art and the Memphis movement. Seeking abstraction through strict, calculated geometric forms, he seeks to breathe new life into sculptural furniture and plays with raw materials such as cork, steel and aluminum. The pieces are manufactured or industrialized in France. For example, the hands and machines used to create the company's objects come from the aeronautics and nuclear sectors, as well as from historic French know-how.
