Description
Half a century of originality, told through a smile identical to the first day. Signed in 1965 by designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, the radiofonografo is perfect because it's unique, thanks to an incomparable style. Shapes with a retro charm, combined with incredible sound definition and the possibility of orienting and despeakers to suit the space, for a listening experience that's both stimulating and intriguing. The mobility and dynamism of an object that is static by nature. Combined with the search for a minimalist form, the very essence of the project, or the "main design element" as the Castiglioni brothers liked to call it.
The radiofonografo guarantees excellent power and sound quality, thanks to the choices made by sound professionals. It remains a "machine for sound", equipped with a Vinal turntable and AM/FM radio. The radiofonografo is also a music monitor, with auxiliary inputs for connecting other sources or audio signal reception systems via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, offering exceptional sound quality.
Each radiofonografo is a unique piece of craftsmanship, but the result of a high-precision production process: the knobs and shells of the central body are made using CNC milling machines, the Base is made by melting and molding in Sand, then each piece is painted with the utmost care. The expert hands of our craftsmen transform the semi-finished products into authentic one-off pieces. The sanding of the wood panels, the assembly of the components, the finishing of the Base, the application of silk-screen prints, are all processes through which the Italian tradition of craftsmanship makes each radiofonografo unique.
