Created by the famous Verner Panton in 1969, Panto Pop armchairs were designed for the legendary Visiona II exhibition which took place in 1970 in Cologne. Produced in very limited quantities at the time, Panto Pop armchairs are now reissued by Verpan. And they haven't aged a bit! Verner Panton is one of the most famous designers of the last century. He excelled in the modern, futuristic style. His creations really left their mark on the 1960s. Recognised by his peers, Verner Panton has received numerous awards, including the International Design Award (three times in 1963, 1981 and 1986), the “Deutsche Auswahl” (five times between 1981 and 1984), Denmark’s Dansk Designgråd Årspris in 1991, and the Norwegian Design Prize in 1992.
