This Spindle Bench is made from recycled Solid teak. The choice of reclaimed Teak gives each piece a truly unique finish: each handcrafted creation carries with it the history of the material from which it is made.
This charmingly authentic Bench features a small backrest with slats. It takes its inspiration from the traditional spinning wheels used to spin wool, integrating its perfectly aligned Rayons into the backrest. We love the graphic effect of this assembly of wooden Chopsticks forming an openwork structure that's rhythmic, balanced and airy. The Bench's simple lines highlight the exceptional craftsmanship of the wood.
Solid teak has received no protective treatment. The wood is simply polished to allow the oils it naturally contains to rise to the surface. The high density of Teak wood has the advantage of making it more resistant to stains. Despite these qualities, it is advisable to clean up any liquid splashes immediately.
