Description
The hollow, rounded shape evokes an alcove ...
A superb Toy of form and material, for these delicate and refined Ceramic Wall lights. A perfect balance of craftsmanship and industry, Alcove Wall lights are made in central Portugal. They were designed by VIOLAINE D'HARCOURT, who lives in Lisbon and works between Portugal and France. These highly crafted pieces boast artisanal quality.
The hollow, rounded shape evokes an alcove, a niche destined to receive a precious object. The shape evokes a sense of sacredness for both the object and the light it contains. Like a precious object, the 1W tubular Bulb (included) takes pride of place in its colorful setting, sublimating the light. Reminiscent of Candlelight, the warm, vibrant light emanating from this precious wall Nest highlights the tactility of the material and creates a relaxing, cocooning atmosphere.
The Alcove Wall light contrasts the modernity of its straight exterior lines with the organic look of its soft interior curves.
Designer Violaine d'Harcourt ''Lighting fixtures have a soul, they totally transform the atmosphere and mood of an interior.''
