The work of brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec is one of the most representative of the dynamism of French design. For Glas Italia, the duo created the Nesting table, which combines two elements of the same material - Murano glass - each shaped by radically different processes. The Nesting side table is made using complex manufacturing processes.
Nesting features an extremely thick, square cast-glass top, supported by cylindrical blown-glass legs that are fully embedded and seamlessly welded into the top.
The cast glass of the tray is rippled, giving the impression of being in relief, while the surface is smooth. Animated by movement, the glass takes on an unprecedented appearance, creating an incredible Toy of transparency and color.
