Deville outdoor stacking chair, the bistro spirit reinvented by HAY
With Deville, HAY offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the bistro set, imagined by French designer Julien Renault. A piece born of a very concrete memory, that of a restaurant in his native Brussels, and the simplicity of set tables surrounded by Wood chairs.
1920s charm translated into Aluminium
Renault is inspired by the spirit and aesthetics of Thonet chairs from the 1920s. He has retained their obvious lines and user-friendliness, then reinterpreted them in Thermolacquered aluminium. The result is a stacking chair with generous proportions, gentle curves and a luminous presence thanks to a uniform finish, available in Charcoal grey, Oxidised red, Cream white, Silver grey or Thyme green.
Intelligent construction built to last
Made from at least 60% post-consumer recycled aluminum, the outdoor chair combines molding and bending. Assembled with screws, it can be easily dismantled for easy repair and recycling. Rusty-resistant, it's built to last, yet easy to move and rearrange. Furniture glides protect floors, even under heavy use.
A collection designed for both private and contract use
