Born in 1994, Jack encapsulates the boldness of renowned British designer Tom Dixon. Today, it is renewed with this portable, nomadic version, designed to follow your uses and light up everywhere, with the allure of a collector's item.
A free form, between childhood, math and collective imagination
At first glance, Jack OUTDOOR LED makes its presence felt. Its cheerful geometry draws on the world of childhood, with its sense of Toy, of a volume to be manipulated, of a shape that can be grasped in any direction. As Tom Dixon mischievously explains, the reason for its success lies in its visual evidence: a perfectly mathematical form, technically the star shape of a cube. It's also what makes it universal: everyone can project their own story onto it. Some find it "so sixties", others describe it as "very sensual". In Japan, it evokes a "tetrapod", a Navy creature. In France, it's reminiscent of the Concrete blocks that protect dykes. Its silhouette becomes a language, at once pop, graphic and instantly recognizable. Made from Mat white roto-moulded polyhene, it diffuses a milky, soft, almost tactile light.
Warm, adjustable, outdoor lighting
The integrated 4.5 W LED source diffuses 550 lm at 2700K, with a CRI greater than 90 for faithful colors and a flattering atmosphere. The push-button Dimmer offers continuous dimming, and the included Remote control lets you adjust intensity remotely. Thanks to its IP65 protection, it can be used on terraces, gardens and poolside with total peace of mind, even when the evening draws in.
A nomadic, stackable object that sets the scene
Portable, stackable, also usable as a stool, Jack OUTDOOR LED can be placed on the ground, next to a sofa, on a minimalist terrace, or at the foot of a garden bench.
