The quintessence of Italian design, Glas Italia is an expert in the art of sublimating glass using the finest artisanal methods. Each piece is crafted with the utmost respect for tradition by Italian master glassmakers.
Designed by the famous Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, the Remis coffee table plays with color and with our perception of volumes, offering an amusing Toy of perspectives. Geometric shapes and optical effects mingle in a palette of fresh, vitamin-rich marbled colors.
The Remis coffee table features a wooden structure with angular lines, entirely covered with a mosaic of glass tiles in a variety of random colors. The tiles are shaped and positioned to give the impression of a parallelepiped in relief. Each side of the Table is finished in a different hue to create contrasts and depths. Treating color as a real material, the Remis table is based on the idea of recreating a parallelepiped using different tones and shades to suggest an optical illusion. The Table Remis transforms a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional object.
The Remis coffee table conceals an invisible functional drawer with a push-pull opening system.
A poetic piece with a strong visual identity, both contemporary and playful, it illustrates the mix of influences dear to Patricia Urquiola. The Remis coffee table arouses curiosity: this intriguing piece of furniture questions reality and perception.
ATTENTION. Glass cast sheets are subject to structural and chromatic irregularities and differences, which are intrinsic to the material and therefore cannot constitute grounds for complaint.each piece is unique.
