Designed by the renowned Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, the Remis console plays with color and our perception of volumes, offering a playful Toy of perspectives. Geometric shapes and optical effects mingle in a palette of fresh, vitamin-rich marbled colors.
The Remis Console features an angular wooden structure entirely covered with a mosaic of randomly colored glass tiles. The tiles are shaped and positioned to give the impression of a parallelepiped in relief. Each face of this console is finished in a different shade to create contrasts and depths. Treating color as a real material, the Remis console is based on the idea of recreating a parallelepiped using different tones and shades to suggest an optical illusion. The Console Remis transforms a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional object.
The Remis console conceals an invisible functional drawer with a push-pull opening system.
This poetic piece with a strong visual identity, both contemporary and playful, illustrates the mix of influences dear to Patricia Urquiola. Remis arouses curiosity: this intriguing piece of furniture questions reality and perception.
ATTENTION. The irregularities and structural and chromatic differences in cast Glass sheets are intrinsic to the material and cannot be used as grounds for complaint. Each piece is unique.
