Rime Pendant glass black / 6 globes - Ø 12 cm

Rime 6 Globes Multi-Light Pendant, a generous lighting arrangement

Muuto’s Rime 6-Globe Multi-Light Pendant combines six small 12-cm globes into an arrangement that is at once soft, graphic, and airy. Each mouth blown glass lampshade features a semi-translucent white sandblasted finish that diffuses a delicate glow. Their organic shape, inspired by an acorn, contrasts with the slender aluminum frames and tubes. With a total span of 44 cm, the piece makes a striking statement thanks to the number of globes, without appearing visually bulky.

Six globes like a cloud

Rime plays on repetition and rhythm. Arranged in sets of six, the globes create the effect of a luminous cloud that lends greater density to the composition while maintaining a sense of lightness. Each lampshade is made of mouth blown glass with a sandblasted finish, while the top piece and tube are made of thermolacquered aluminium. This contrast between opaline glass and the metal structure gives the light fixture its balance between softness and contemporary precision.

A height-adjustable composition

The Rime 6-Globe Pendant allows you to adjust the height of each element during installation. The globes can thus be brought closer together to form a dense arrangement or spaced out over several levels to achieve a more vertical and airy effect. The ceiling rose is equipped with a hinged stand that makes it easy to open, adjust the cables, and then close it.

Where to install a 6-globe multi-light pendant?

A 6-globe pendant light is particularly well-suited for a living room, dining room, or any space where the light fixture is meant to serve as a true focal point. With its six light sources grouped within a 44 cm span, Rime offers a more substantial presence than a single pendant light while maintaining a compact footprint. It’s particularly well-suited for placement above a table or in the center of a room.

Can the height of the globes be adjusted individually?

Yes, the height of the Rime pendant lights is adjustable during installation. This flexibility allows you to create a more or less tiered arrangement depending on the ceiling height and the desired effect. The six globes can thus form a compact cluster or a composition that extends further vertically.

What kind of lighting does the Rime 6-Globe pendant provide?

The Rime pendant emits a soft, atmospheric light thanks to its semi-translucent white globes made of sanded glass. It operates with six G9 bulbs of up to 25 W each, which are included, and is compatible with a TRIAC dimmer. This allows you to adjust the brightness to switch from brighter lighting to a more subdued ambiance.

Black or white finish—which one should you choose?

The Rime 6-Globe pendant lamp is available with black or white frames and cables, while the globes remain white and semi-translucent. The white version accentuates the sense of lightness and blends more easily into a light-colored ceiling. The black version emphasizes the vertical lines and creates a graphic contrast around the Opaline Glass.

With its six globes arranged like a small luminous landscape, Rime adds depth to the light. Compact in size yet generous in presence, it creates an elegant focal point above a table or in the center of the living room.
