The Simoon collection is based on a deliberately simplified geometry, giving life to constructions with essential lines that highlight the material, Simoon's true protagonist.
The collaboration between Patricia Urquiola and Glas Italia has led to an unexpected interpretation of glass. For Simoon, experimentation has resulted in a glass that doesn't have the usual look of glass. Pleasing to the eye and to the touch, this frosted glass with its slightly grainy surface is created using recycled glass from production waste.
Simoon's minimalist, rigorous shapes are achieved by simply assembling the glass boards. The colored, textured surface enlivens this clear, uncluttered construction.
