Sphinx Table lamp metal red

Why choose the Sphinx Table lamp?

• A graphic, curved silhouette with instant appeal
• A deep, luminous red to wake up the décor
• Soft, enveloping light, ideal for living rooms or bedrooms
• Handcrafted in France by Axel Chay, a rising star of contemporary design

A sculptural Lamp with a bold visual language

With its lacquered steel structure forming a taut loop, the Sphinx lamp imposes its radical, enigmatic style. Inspired by industrial pipes, its tubular silhouette is part of a minimalist, whimsical aesthetic. Two Opaline Glass globes punctuate this closed form with a soft, diffused effect, as if suspended in space. The structure's deep red accentuates its pop, almost kinetic character. A powerful piece, where the object becomes a work of art.

A design for everyday use

Multipositional, this generously proportioned Lamp is equally at home on a Console or Dresser. It diffuses a warm, relaxing light. A practical as well as aesthetic piece, designed to be seen, but also to be used.

Axel Chay's singular vision

Axel Chay transforms a basic element - the steel tube - into a domestic sculpture. Made in Marseille, each Sphinx Lamp is the fruit of exacting craftsmanship. It embodies the designer's free-spirited vision: a joyful design inspired by the 80s, between geometric abstraction and Mediterranean Sun.

Bring Axel Chay's luminous gesture into your home - a sculptural, expressive and terribly desirable lamp.
