Made from oiled Baltic Birch, the Stool 01 is defined by a geometric silhouette and an absence of frills. Formed from an assembly of austere linear planes, this stool is inspired by the seating commonly found in Nordic churches since the early 20th century. Authentic, this piece honors craftsmanship and functionality. The simple form plays on harmonious proportions and leaves the mortise-and-tenon joints exposed, a tribute to timeless craftsmanship.
The archetypal construction of this Stool makes it reliably sturdy. Made to last over time, the Stool 01 sounds like a tribute to patina. Wood will develop a unique patina as it ages: so the more you use it, the more beautiful it becomes!
Variations in oil and wood grain are natural.
