An icon of Scandinavian design! The String shelving system was designed in 1949 by the Swedish architect Nils Strinning (1917-2006), a major figure in Scandinavian design. String is a system of modular shelves that can be combined according to individual needs. Its light weight, adaptability, minimalist and timeless design have made it a great Swedish design classic. String shelving is still made in Sweden with great attention to quality. Its design has remained unchanged since 1949. Able to be totally dismantled, this String Pocket wall shelving consists of two metal wire uprights into which three adjustable-height shelves can be inserted. Compact and practical, it can be installed anywhere: kitchen, entrance, bathroom, bedroom or living room. You can create a graphic composition on your wall by arranging several String shelves side by side, either vertically or horizontally. The wide variety of colours, vivid or pastel, allows the String shelves to blend in with all types of interiors.
