Since 1908, Carl Hansen & Søn has embodied the quintessence of Danish design by combining craftsmanship, quality and innovation. The brand brings together a collection of masterpieces of Scandinavian design: iconic items created by the greatest Danish designers. Handcrafted in Denmark, these pieces with their exceptional quality stand the test of time. With the strictest respect for the original models, Carl Hansen & Søn reissues the legendary creations of the founders of Scandinavian design. Table Bench was designed in 1958 by Børge Mogensen (1914 - 1972), creator of many classics of Danish designer furniture from the 1950s and 1960s. Exhibited in the greatest museums in the world, his simple, timeless furniture has won him numerous international awards. Table Bench is a multifunctional piece that perfectly exemplifies Børge Mogensen's philosophy of “furniture in construction”, designed to adapt to changing needs and spaces over time. Table Bench is as suitable as a bench in an entrance as it is as a coffee table. This piece of furniture exudes well-being wherever it’s placed. Table Bench is made from solid oak with a superb woven rattan seat. Each Bench Chair is handcrafted by skilled artisans, using the highest-quality materials. This piece is not only an aesthetic masterpiece, but an example of high-quality Danish craftsmanship.
