Description
Young Dutch interior designer and ceramist Lauren Van Driessche has always had an affinity for hand-crafted objects. Discovering clay as the ideal vehicle for giving shape to her conceptual thoughts, she decided to delve deeper into this skill, experimenting with Terracotta and combinations of geometric figures. Lauren Van Driessche originally created the Terra Lamp as a gift for her partner. This object born of love has evolved into a complete collection of lamps. Terra Light is the first collection marketed by Lauren Van Driessche in collaboration with the Belgian brand Serax.
Made entirely from Terracotta, Terra lamps feature a sphere on a hollow cylindrical base. The Mobile sphere is adjustable, allowing light to be directed in any direction. The sphere's white interior creates a magnificent contrast and optimizes light reflection.
The raw-finish Terracotta and simple, solid lines give these lamps an authentic, handcrafted look. Earth lamps add a warm, natural touch to your decor. Their neo-rustic style is a perfect answer to our need for authenticity and a return to our roots. These lamps offer a surprising mix: ancestral materials are reinterpreted in a modern way with pure, contemporary shapes. The charisma of these lights is expressed through a blend of sobriety, modernity and authenticity. Rough, porous and irregular, Terracotta has a warm red-orange hue that will take your interior on a journey.
