Wall light Jim - The brilliance of Sandstone at the heart of the Terres de Rêves collection
Created by Belgian ceramic artist Anita Le Grelle for Serax, the Jim Wall light transforms light into matter. Its cascading silhouette plays with the contrasts between shadow and brilliance, evoking the raw beauty of Sandstone and the softness of refined chiaroscuro.
Architectural design with sensual lines
Composed of three superimposed volumes, the Jim Wall light is both graphic and organic. Made from Enamelled sandstone, it comes in three delicate shades - Dark green, Light green and Blue - whose reflections vary subtly with the light. Each piece is the fruit of traditional craftsmanship, in which the ceramist's hand deliberately reveals the irregularity of the gesture and the richness of the material.
The art of soft lighting
Designed to accommodate a G9 Bulb, the Wall light diffuses a warm, enveloping light. Its stepped volumes project a halo upwards and downwards, sculpting space with finesse. A poetic creation by Anita Le Grelle
A graduate of London's Royal College of Art, Anita Le Grelle first worked as an art director before devoting herself entirely to ceramics in her Brussels studio. Her world combines authenticity, asymmetry and sensuality of form. With the Earth de Rêves collection, she celebrates the beauty of imperfect materials and the poetry of the handmade. The Jim Wall light blends naturally into a contemporary or bohemian chic interior, adding that touch of soul that makes all the difference.
