This porcelain skull has a cracked appearance on all sides. As if, after breaking it, someone had put the pieces back together again. This effect is inspired by Kintsugi, an ancestral Japanese method of repairing broken porcelain and ceramics with gold solder. All golden details are made with real 24 carat gold. Designer Marcantonio embellishes the macabre with humour. He tackles unexpected themes, mixing different worlds in an uninhibited way.
