Description
Since the 1970s, fashion designer Margarett Howell has defied time and fashion. Popular with the likes of Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren, she is renowned the world over for her timeless, understated and uncluttered style. Her pieces, unaffected by the comings and goings of trends, are characterized by their pure cuts and the quality of their materials.
The timeless Anglepoise ''Original 1227'' lamp was designed in 1934 by engineer George Carwardine. His aim was to develop a Lamp that was flexible, adjustable and yet perfectly stable. To achieve this, he used articulated arms with innovative springs that he himself invented and patented! The Type 75 Lamp is a modernized version of Anglepoise's legendary 1227 model. The Base is now round, and the Reflector has a conical shape. It can be used as a bedside or Desk lamp, at home or at work.
All Anglepoise lamps come with a lifetime warranty: a guarantee of durability, solidity and high quality. Anglepoise promises to repair or, if this is not possible, to replace your lamp by recycling your old one.
