Continuing a successful and longstanding relationship, Anglepoise® and Margaret Howell are delighted to announce the September launch of two additional exclusive colours for the Type 75™ Anglepoise® desk lamp. The new colours chosen for the collection - Saxon Blue and Seagrass - complement the existing Yellow Ochre lamp.
Margaret Howell designs clothes for men and women. She began working from home in 1970 and today she is sold worldwide with flagship shops in London, Paris, Florence, and Tokyo, with more than 100 outlets throughout Japan. For her, clothes are part of a considered lifestyle rather than a passing trend, valuing material, make and style. In 2002 the company moved its London offices and prime shop to Wigmore Street, designed collaboratively with architect William Russell from Pentagram, who also designed many of their other flagship shops. Margaret Howell has frequently championed the Anglepoise® lamp, admiring the similar design qualities that are the essence of her men's and women's clothing: simplicity, functionality, authenticity and timelessness.
