A new contemporary icon is born! British designer Sir Kenneth Grange has created many iconic industrial design luminaires, including the famous Type 75 Architect lamp, an Anglepoise landmark since 1933.
To celebrate his 90th birthday, Sir Kenneth Grange has designed a new lamp: Type 80. This model has its own personality, a strong contemporary identity, while remaining true to the fundamentals of the Anglepoise brand: simplicity, functionality, quality and sturdiness.
The Type 80 Lamp is characterized by its striking graphic profile. Every detail has been carefully studied and fine-tuned to offer style, ease of use and consistency to the entire Type 80 collection. The Lampshade is embellished with a groove that lets out an aesthetic and functional halo of light. Ultra-strong spring joints, designed to rigorous new standards, ensure perfect stability of arm and Lampshade in all positions. The springs and cables are cleverly concealed inside the arm for a perfect look. This Lamp features a touch-sensitive switch located above the Lampshade.
Offering a high-end lighting solution for domestic and commercial interiors, the Type 80 collection includes a Table lamp, a Wall light and a Pendant. The Type 80 collection is available in a palette of sophisticated matte colors.
All Anglepoise lamps come with a lifetime warranty: a guarantee of durability, solidity and high quality. Anglepoise promises to repair or, if this is not possible, to replace your lamp by recycling your old one.
