An iconic Bowl with poetic pop accents
A symbol of Finnish design since the 1960s, the Unikko Bowl embodies the free, avant-garde spirit of Marimekko. With its oversized petals and warm colors - white, caramel and warm gold - it brings a touch of graphic joy to the table. A strong piece, both utilitarian and decorative, that crosses the ages with panache.
A revolutionary floral design by Maija Isola
Created in 1964 as a reaction to the ban on floral motifs by the founder of Marimekko, the Unikko pattern is a manifesto of creativity. Designed by Maija Isola in a spirit of defiance, it imposed a new visual language, radical and poetic. This Sandstone Bowl extends its boldness into a contemporary version, as expressive as it is timeless.
Designed to last, built to live
Robust and elegant, the Unikko Bowl stands up to the most demanding use. Its Sandstone stoneware retains heat, withstands temperature variations and is resistant to repeated washing and everyday knocks. As beautiful as it is practical, it combines design and comfort without compromise.
A Marimekko icon to integrate into your world
Alone or mixed with other pieces in the collection, the Unikko Bowl structures the table with aplomb. It's at home in contemporary, bohemian or Scandinavian interiors, in perfect harmony with Light wood, washed linen or textured ceramics. An invitation to compose a lively, expressive and resolutely personal Table.
Treat yourself to a touch of historic design every day: the Unikko Bowl celebrates boldness, color and inventiveness with flair.
