For Belgian artist Marie Michielssen, designing furniture always begins with a series of sketches on Paper. With mathematical precision, she constructs the volumes. The proportions must be perfect.
This Coffee table takes up the elliptical shape characteristic of the Valerie outdoor collection. Poster's lines are round, simple and massive. The large rounded edge prevents objects from falling off the Tray.
For the material, Marie Michielssen chose Lacquered steel, so that the Valerie coffee table can be used both indoors and outdoors. She also likes steel because it's an honest material, a little raw and industrial.
This steel coffee table perfectly complements the Valerie low armchair by Serax, creating a space for relaxing both indoors and out.
