From the laser cut to the calendering, and from the deep punching to the Etruscan granulation which is one of the most ancient and most fascinating goldsmithery techniques which consists of welding minuscule spheres of silver and gold onto a metal sheet. This way, Elena Salmistraro is able to bring to life artisan jewellery, showcasing the expressive qualities of metal and highlighting its expressive details. These rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings all conceal an incredibly complex production process. Elena Salmistraro: "Venusia is variant of "Venus" - the name of the goddess of beauty. Venusia jewellery is made with stainless steel which is completely hypoallergenic, and is also enhanced with elegant finishes in gold or black PVD.
