Developed on the basis of research into biological rhythms, the Wake wake-up lamp diffuses circadian light to accompany the body in its Natural phases of rest and wakefulness. In the evening, the Wind Down function gradually dims the light to create a relaxing ritual conducive to falling asleep and stimulating the natural production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. In the morning, the sunrise simulation slowly increases light intensity to gently awaken the body and reduce the feeling of tiredness on waking.
