Kartell bedside tables: innovative design for your bedroom

When your first glance in the morning is a designer bedside table, your day can only start well. You can bring design icons into your home with Kartell bedside tables. The furniture pieces from the Italian label combine innovation with a buoyant lightness and nonchalant irony. It’s not just the materials but also the shape that make Kartell bedside tables really functional. The multipurpose tables can be used as universal side tables - in the living room, in the kitchen, in the bathroom or wherever you want to add an optical highlight.

Kartell: designer bedside tables from the famous Italian label

The Kartell label has become famous for its plastic furniture. The company’s creations play with transparency, structure and form. They are imaginative, elegant, ironic, glamourous or unassuming and are unmistakable thanks to their lightness. Since the label was founded in 1949, Italian and International designers have been creating furniture for the brand, which has been treasured and praised across the world. This includes the Kartell bedside tables. Whether it’s the Tip Top end table by Philippe Starck, the Jolly end tables by Paolo Rizzatto or the Max-Beam stool by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, the storage furniture impress next to the bed and next to the sofa.

The Componibili: a classic Kartell bedside table

The Componibili storage furniture has been a Kartell bestseller for decades. As a bedside table, storage in the bathroom or office – this classic can be found around the world. This furniture piece was designed in 1968 as a multifunctional modular system by Anna Castelli Ferrieri. The round or square elements are made from injection-moulded, impact-resistant ABS plastic and have one, two or three drawers. The colour palette ranges from an elegant white, through bright red and a metallic gloss. The original has undergone a few upgrades since then:

  1. a cheeky wink: a re-interpretation by Fabio Novembre in a glossy red with laughing and winking emoticons.
  2. environmentally friendly: Componibili made from a natural and biodegradable material.

Whether you want just one Kartell bedside table in an expressive colour or want to combine and stack different elements in white, it’s up to you. The individualised approach to the furniture is shown in its name because the Italian word “componibile” means “modular” in English.
