Golden glamour… Created by American artist Jonathan Adler, this vase and its geometric patterns and modernist inspiration commands attention with singular beauty. It creates a deluxe and sophisticated ambiance while retaining a certain timeless look. The Futura Bullseye vase boasts an asymmetrical collage of golden concentric circles: A stunning, geometric decoration inspired by optical art. The repetitive, dynamic pattern includes random intermissions: it plays with the use of breaks, offsets and continuity. Made from enamelled porcelain, the high-shine finish of the Futura Bullseye vase strengthens the very graphical effect of the 3D pattern. All of the golden details are created using gold leaf. Ceramicist, designer and internationally renowned interior designer, Jonathan Adler first became passionate about terracotta and exhibited his first pottery collection at Barneys in New York in 1993. "Earth is the basis of my work and always will be", affirms Jonathan Adler. For each ceramic piece from the collection, a clay prototype is made by hand in Jonathan Adler's workshop located in the achingly hip SoHo neighbourhood of New York.
