American ceramicist and designer Jonathan Adler defends irreverent luxury, a blend of American modernism and Arts & Crafts references. Ceramicist, designer and internationally renowned interior designer, Jonathan Adler first became passionate about terracotta and exhibited his first pottery collection at Barneys in New York in 1993. "Earth is the basis of my work and always will be", affirms Jonathan Adler. For each ceramic piece from the collection, a prototype is made by hand in Jonathan Adler's workshop located in the achingly hip SoHo neighbourhood of New York.
