Natural shapes and structures are a recurring theme in the work of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The Bird, a figure of archaic simplicity, echoes the clarity of the objects of Nordic folk art. Its simplified form adds an attractive touch to modern furnishings, without being tacky or in bad taste like many other animal figures. The Bird sculpture is available in wood, made from milled and sanded maple with a smooth finish, or in ceramic. Each piece is made with outstanding craftsmanship, making it a unique object with individual characteristics. This bird has a stylish appearance, simplified to the extreme. Placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a bookcase, on their own or as a group, these figurines will provide your décor with a chic and informal Scandinavian touch.
