Magna Graecia Luna Wall decoration: A Mediterranean Myth Hanging on Your Wall
With Magna Graecia Luna, Seletti transforms a universal symbol into a design object. Designed by Antonio Aricò, this moon with a sleeping face is part of a collection that reimagines the Greek ruins of southern Italy with humor, poetry, and modernity. An expressive creation that instantly adds a narrative dimension to your Decoration.
A Fragment of Magna Graecia Reinvented
A native of Calabria, Antonio Aricò drew inspiration from the Greek culture deeply rooted in his homeland to create the Magna Graecia collection. Ancient statues, Mediterranean legends, and folk traditions fuel this unique universe. With this wall decoration, the designer does not merely reproduce the past but reinterprets it through a contemporary graphic language. The simplified lines, generous swirls, and serene face of this moon evoke both ancient frescoes and Seletti’s signature playful aesthetic.
A decorative piece full of character
Crafted from terracotta, Magna Graecia Luna captivates with its spectacular cobalt blue color and delicately sculpted reliefs. Its generous dimensions allow it to adorn a wall without visually overwhelming it. Whether in an entryway, living room, or bedroom, it naturally draws the eye. UV- and frost-resistant, it can also be placed on a terrace or patio to add a Mediterranean touch to outdoor spaces.
The Art of Telling a Story Through an Object
While many wall decorations are limited to a purely aesthetic role, Magna Graecia Luna tells a real story. Paired with travertine, natural wood, waxed concrete, or handcrafted ceramics, it reveals its full personality. Its strong cultural inspiration and instantly recognizable aesthetic make it a far more unique piece than traditional wall decorations.
Magna Graecia Luna is designed for those who appreciate objects that convey meaning as much as style. A dreamy moon that seems to float between antiquity and the contemporary imagination, like a memory of the Mediterranean suspended in time.
