As two of the most important designers of the 20th century, Charles and Ray Eames created the interior of their private home, the Eames House, as a collage. They carefully displayed the many objects and accessories they brought back from their travels. In the middle of the living room, a wooden bird sculpture has been placed on the floor for more than fifty years, a piece of American folk art that Charles and Ray were particularly fond of, and which they often used as a prop in their photographs. This “House Bird” sculpture was undoubtedly one of Charles and Ray Eames' favourite pieces of decoration. Made of solid wood and equipped with metal legs, this bird has a stylish appearance, simplified to the extreme. Placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a bookcase, on their own or as a group, these figurines will provide your décor with a chic and informal Scandinavian touch.
