A minimalist, sculptural aesthetic for these trivets designed by Muller Van Severen. Like all the creations by the Flemish design duo, these trivets are stripped down to their essence. They consist of thin steel contours just six millimetres thick. These geometric steel shapes are available in a pretty palette of colours: black, orange, mint green and pink. These trivets trace graphic, coloured lines on your table. You can use each of the items independently or choose to assemble them on a table to create a single composition. Despite their minimal thickness (6 mm), these trivets effectively protect your table from pans and hot dishes. Once stored away, suspended one on top of the other against the wall, the mixture of various shapes creates an abstract work of coloured lines. Known as Muller Van Severen, the Flemish design duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen work at the intersection of art and design. They are among the most prominent creators of the moment. From galleries to museums via collectors, design enthusiasts and design houses, everyone loves their minimalist, colourful creations, timeless and joyful.
