Its spherical aluminum Lampshade, lacquered or Chrome Plated depending on the version, is slightly truncated at the front to direct the light. This pure geometric form, inherited from the modernism of the 50s and 60s, perfectly illustrates Verner Panton's quest to create objects that are both essential and expressive.
A transparent base that plays on lightness
The diffuser rests on an extruded Acrylic cylinder with flame-polished edges.
