Description
Designed entirely in Steel, the piece ...
Inspired by the emblematic UD chair, created for the University of Dijon in 1958, the UD table by Tolix Studio perpetuates the heritage of excellence of French industrial design. Created in 2023 by the skilled hands of the craftsmen at the Tolix workshops, this piece bears witness to the perfect mastery of materials and the art of metallurgy.
Designed entirely in Steel, the piece is distinguished by its durability. It perfectly combines its slender curves with a steel Tray that seems to float in suspension. Capable of comfortably seating 8 guests, its sturdy structure and sleek Tray reflect unrivalled functionality.
Jean Pauchard, a visionary of his time, would no doubt have admired this latest addition, which honors the TOLIX heritage while responding to contemporary aspirations. The UD Table is more than just a piece of furniture: it is a reflection of renewed French design and craftsmanship. It follows in the footsteps of the brand's timeless masterpieces. Studio Tolix's creations are a tribute to the past, a bridge between eras, a testament to the perseverance of authentic craftsmanship in an increasingly automated world.
Its sleek finish and timeless design ensure that this table will take pride of place in any contemporary setting.
