The Jonathan Adler Vice CALORIES Box: Humor on Display with Style
Jonathan Adler’s decorative Vice boxes celebrate guilty little pleasures with self-deprecating elegance. Featuring black-and-white stripes reminiscent of a circus tent and adorned with the word “CALORIES,” this design transforms a simple storage container into a true decorative object. Its graphic appeal immediately catches the eye while adding a touch of chic humor to your home.
An iconic silhouette blending glamour and pop culture
Crafted from painted porcelain, this decorative porcelain box captivates with its curved silhouette, conical lid, and visually striking striped design. The black-and-white contrasts evoke the worlds of cabaret, the circus, and American modernism, reimagined with a whimsical twist. True to Jonathan Adler’s aesthetic, it blends sophistication, pop culture, and vintage references into a design that’s as refined as it is playful.
A storage solution that’s as practical as it is original
Measuring 13 cm in diameter and 17 cm in height, the Vice CALORIES box is perfect for storing candy, cookies, coffee pods, small accessories, or everyday mementos. It fits naturally on a countertop, console table, bookcase, or bedside table. Whether on its own or paired with other pieces from the Vice collection, it creates a lively decoration where each inscription tells a different story.
The Quirky World of Jonathan Adler
A trained ceramicist, Jonathan Adler has been creating objects that challenge the conventions of classic design for over thirty years. Inspired by American modernism, pop culture, and the elegance of Palm Springs, he blends glamour, humor, and craftsmanship with an instantly recognizable signature style. Each piece begins as a prototype shaped in his SoHo studio in New York before being crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The Vice collection perfectly embodies this vision, where everyday objects become pieces with character.
Choosing the Jonathan Adler Vice CALORIES decorative box means adding a creation full of personality to your home—one that brings a smile to your face as much as it decorates. A unique piece that transforms small pleasures into true design objects.
