NV GALLERY: contemporary and designer furniture, inspired by fashion and architecture
NV GALLERY cultivates a vision of contemporary design that is both sophisticated and accessible. As a French furniture brand, it creates collections that blend style, quality, and fair pricing. At the intersection of fashion, architecture, and artistic trends, the brand asserts a unique signature, blending sculptural lines, refined materials, and meticulous details. From NV GALLERY sofas to armchairs, chairs, tables, and lighting, each creation combines aesthetics, comfort, and functionality. This approach to furniture is designed to last, driven by sustainable manufacturing and the ambition to produce less, but better.
Regularly featured in the selections of ELLE Decoration and IDEAT, the French brand NV GALLERY cultivates a creative and inspiring world where styles and eras converge. It’s an invitation to break free from convention and create a deeply personal interior.
NV GALLERY, a French brand founded in 2016
The story of NV GALLERY began in 2016 with Thibaut Saguet’s desire to redefine the rules of furniture design. The goal: to offer an alternative to mass-produced furniture through unique, functional, and affordable pieces, without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
Born in the world of e-commerce, the brand prioritizes direct collaboration with its manufacturers, without intermediaries. This model allows it to offer fair prices while paying close attention to every stage of production, from the selection of materials to the finishing touches. Since its founding, NV GALLERY has established its signature style in the contemporary furniture landscape, while expanding its physical presence with stores in Paris, Lyon, Burgundy, and Marseille.
Today, Thibaut Saguet, co-founder, artistic director, and CEO, drives the brand’s creative vision and its collections. For him, furniture does more than simply furnish a space: it contributes to its identity, reveals a sensibility, and embodies a way of life.
Design at the intersection of fashion, architecture, and eras
At NV GALLERY, the brand reinvents itself as a wardrobe. Each season, the collections are unveiled like fashion capsule collections, exploring new combinations of colors, materials, and silhouettes. The creative teams draw their inspiration from fashion week runways as well as contemporary art fairs and international architectural trends. From these inspirations emerges furniture that captures the spirit of the times and brings it into our homes.
This freedom translates into a genuine dialogue between styles and eras. Mid-century design meets the geometric rigor of the Bauhaus, while the sensual curves of the 1960s and 1970s sit alongside resolutely contemporary silhouettes. Enveloping seats, generous proportions, organic lines, and sculptural legs make up a rich aesthetic repertoire, where each piece asserts its own personality.
Influences also vary across the collections. Sometimes minimalist and understated, in the spirit of slow living, the furniture takes on a sunnier vibe when it draws on the style of the French Riviera. Natural materials , warm tones, and soft curves then evoke the Mediterranean way of life. Elsewhere, chromed accents and graphic shapes breathe new life into vintage heritage with a bolder flair.
This penchant for blending styles is also expressed through artistic collaborations. In 2022, NV GALLERY partnered with the fashion influencer duo Jaimetoutcheztoi—composed of Alice Barbier and Jean-Sébastien Roques—to create the Tribute capsule collection, inspired by mid-century design. The following year, singer and painter Claire Laffut created “Rêve Lucide,” a collection featuring organic and poetic forms that straddles the line between furniture and artistic expression.
Beyond a unique style, NV GALLERY champions a free and personal approach to decoration. Influences intersect, eras converse, and pieces complement one another naturally. The key is to create a distinctive interior in which you recognize yourself.
NV GALLERY Sofas, Armchairs, and Tables: Pieces with Character
In the living room, NV GALLERY sofas set the tone. Their forms are rounded, their textures invite touch, and their silhouettes become true decorative elements. Fully modular, the Waffle sofa lets you design a custom living room tailored to your preferences and space. With its rounded shapes, the Giulia sofa reinterprets the aesthetics of the 1970s. More understated and streamlined, the Camilla sofa charms with its laid-back look. With its generous proportions and asymmetrical lines, the Neo armchair invites you to linger and relax.
In the dining room, comfort takes center stage without compromising on style. Featuring padded chairs upholstered in soft fabrics, the NV GALLERY chairs combine aesthetics with everyday comfort. Compact and comfortable, the Maia chair charms with its retro look. The Uberto chair plays on the contrast between natural cane-work and a metal frame, while the Bold chair asserts its sculptural character with its turned wooden legs. Arranged around a table, these distinctive silhouettes create a set full of personality.
The home office is no exception to this pursuit of elegance. With their clean lines, comfortable seats, and refined materials, NV GALLERY office armchairs add character to the workspace. The Valeria armchair on casters, like the Aero and Kingscross models, combines comfort, functionality, and contemporary style.
Functionality remains central to the brand’s approach. NV GALLERY’s extendable tables blend design with MODULARity. With its two extension leaves, the Mira extendable table expands from 100 to 140, then to 180 cm, to seat four to eight people. In the entryway, the Noemia bench combines comfortable seating with clever shoe storage, without compromising on aesthetics.
Materials and finishes that awaken the senses
NV Gallery’s signature style is also recognizable by its appreciation for beautiful materials and the interplay of textures. Wood with deep hues, natural stone, glass, metal, and finely crafted textiles come together to create a palette rich in contrasts. The brilliance of a chromed finish complements the softness of a Terrycloth fabric, while the grain of the wood or stone adds depth and authenticity.
The Izia dining table exemplifies this quest for balance between material and form. Its round tabletop, crafted from treated genuine Travertine stone, rests on conical legs clad in light ash. The stone’s soft, mineral-like quality contrasts with the bold geometry of the base.
The Ovalia dresser makes a statement with its brushed antique brass finish. Its soft curves and rounded corners temper the metallic effect, creating a sophisticated take on contemporary furniture.
This attention to materials extends even to the NV GALLERY lighting collection, ranging from designer wall lights to floor lamps and table lamps. The Cameron LED wall light, clad in jade stone, and the Sira wall light, crafted from marble, highlight the beauty of mineral materials, transforming lighting into a true element of decoration.
NV GALLERY: Thoughtful Manufacturing, Designed to Last
Designing desirable furniture also means paying special attention to its manufacturing. Beyond trends, NV GALLERY prioritizes quality and durability. The brand advocates for limited and sustainable production to better manage its output and minimize overproduction and waste.
This commitment extends to the selection of materials and manufacturing partners. NV GALLERY specifically favors the use of FSC-certified wood and incorporates STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®-certified textiles into certain designs .
By combining careful consideration of production volumes, material selection, and high-quality standards, the company aims to offer furniture that transcends fleeting trends. These pieces are designed to fit seamlessly into today’s interiors and remain a cherished part of them for years to come.
How can you incorporate NV GALLERY furniture into your home?
Mix styles, explore color, and create a dialogue between eras: with NV GALLERY, decoration becomes a space for self-expression. Its collections fit equally well in minimalist interiors as they do in more eclectic settings, where each piece of furniture contributes to a personal story.
In the living room, a generously curved sofa can complement a coffee table with architectural lines. Chrome adds a retro-futuristic touch, while dark woods, natural-colored textiles, and earthy tones create a warm atmosphere. A mix of vintage and contemporary pieces creates a vibrant decoration where styles balance each other without necessarily looking alike.
In the dining room, the soft, mineral-like quality of a Travertine table can complement colorful chairs. A sun yellow, a luminous orange, or a deep green add depth to the room. Conversely, shades of sand, camel, and chocolate envelop the space in a subdued elegance, in a spirit inspired by slow living.
Even small spaces can assert their character. The Kalahari mirror, with its organic contours, visually enlarges an entryway; the Emerson wall light elegantly adorns the wall without cluttering the floor; and an extendable table like the Tamia adapts to any entertaining occasion.
NV GALLERY at Made In Design
At Made In Design, we’ve selected NV GALLERY’s creations for their ability to add character to every room in the home. Sculptural sofas, enveloping armchairs, elegant chairs, tables with graphic silhouettes, dressers, and lighting fixtures come together to create a world where design naturally becomes part of everyday life.
Our selection highlights pieces that combine style with the joy of use. An extendable table to bring family and friends together, a modular sofa to rethink the living room layout, a graphic floor lamp to enhance a space, or a storage unit that becomes a decorative element in its own right.
It’s an opportunity to explore new combinations and blend different inspirations, shapes, and materials. Because a successful interior doesn’t necessarily adhere to a single style—above all, it reflects the personality of those who live there.
NV GALLERY’s Iconic Pieces
With their recognizable silhouettes and bold character, certain designs particularly well embody the brand’s aesthetic. Among the pieces featured in NV GALLERY’s Les Iconiques collection, discover:
- Maia— A compact chair with a curved backrest and padded seat that combines comfort with graphic lines for the dining room.
- Mogan— A chair with a small, suspended backrest and textured upholstery, whose airy silhouette brings a sense of lightness to the dining area.
- Orwell— A sculptural coffee table that combines a transparent tempered glass top with two organic legs made of solid ashwood.
- Emerson— An LED wall light made of genuine jade stone and brass finish metal, designed to be mounted horizontally or vertically.
- Tamia— An extendable dining table with a Walnut finish that extends from 120 to 160 cm to seat four to six people.
- Powers— A floor lamp with organic curves and a retro look, available in satin beige, green, and a mirror-chrome finish.
Why choose NV GALLERY designs for your home?
Because interiors are meant to evolve, NV GALLERY invites you to freely mix and match styles and influences. A colorful chair enhances a minimalist dining room, a sculptural light fixture becomes the centerpiece of a living room, while a table with bold curves redefines the atmosphere of a room.
Inspired by fashion, the arts, and architecture, the brand’s collections embrace this art of blending that gives interiors their unique character. These are designs to look at, touch, and—above all—experience, transforming everyday life into a canvas where aesthetics and functionality come together.
