Valeria Office Armchair: the elegance of an armchair, the practicality of an office chair
With its generous proportions and sophisticated look, the Valeria office armchair from NV Gallery blends design and functionality. Its floating backrest, delicate upholstery, and enveloping armrests give it the look of a small living room armchair. Upholstered in warm tweed and supported by brass finish metal legs, it exudes an elegance with vintage accents. A far cry from traditional desk chairs, the Valeria is beautiful enough to take pride of place in a home office set up right in the heart of the living room. No need to hide your desk corner anymore—it’s a full-fledged part of the Decoration!
A floating backrest and upholstery with retro charm
Valeria captivates with its interplay of volumes and meticulous finishes. Its slightly curved backrest appears to hover above the seat, creating an opening that visually lightens its silhouette. The generous armrests frame the chair and enhance its enveloping character. The button-tufted upholstery, which adorns the backrest and seat, adds texture to the fabric and a refined vintage touch.
The armchair is available in two fabrics in warm shades. The caramel-colored tweed adds warmth to the decoration, while the mottled brown version plays on contrasts and the richness of the weave. These textured materials complement the golden highlights of the brushed golden brass finish on the metal legs, creating an elegant balance between softness and sophistication.
Comfort complements this refined aesthetic. The seat features high resilience foam at 25 kg/m³, and the backrest is padded with 28 kg/m³ foam. This inviting design encourages you to settle in comfortably to work, read, or let your creativity run free.
Is the Valeria office armchair height-adjustable?
Yes, the Valeria chair is a swivel armchair that is height-adjustable via a lever located under the seat. This lever allows you to adjust the seat height between 49 and 59 cm to accommodate different body types and desk heights. Its total height ranges from 79.5 to 89.5 cm. Its legs with Caster wheels make it easy to move around, while the swivel seat offers pleasant freedom of movement throughout the day.
How can you incorporate an office armchair into a living space?
When the workspace is set up in a living room or family room, choosing a stylish office armchair helps maintain the harmony of the Decoration. With its refined upholstery, warm tweed, and gold accents, Valeria elegantly complements a desk made of walnut, oak, or with contemporary lines. Its refined aesthetic allows you to fully embrace a remote work area open to the living space, without having to hide it.
Measuring 63.5 cm wide and 58 cm deep, Valeria offers a generous seat. To slide it under a tray, check the height of its armrests, which range from 69 to 79 cm depending on the seat adjustment.
Is the tweed upholstery on the Valeria armchair durable enough for daily use?
Yes, the Valeria’s tweed upholstery has a Martindale abrasion resistance rating of 50,000 cycles, making it suitable for regular use. Composed of 78% polyester, 17% Acrylic, and 5% Viscose, this fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Its structure incorporates FSC-certified wood, while its metal legs support a maximum weight of 150 kg. The armchair is delivered unassembled and requires assembly before use.
With its elegant upholstery, warm materials, and gold-tone legs, Valeria transforms the desk into a space where it’s a pleasure to work. Paired with contemporary furniture or vintage pieces, it adds a touch of sophistication that goes far beyond its primary function. This armchair is chosen as much for the pleasure of sitting in it as for the pleasure of admiring it.
