Celesta Office Armchair: Retro Elegance Meets Comfort

With its vintage look and delicately rounded lines, the Celesta office armchair reimagines office furniture with a decidedly decorative flair. Inspired by 1970s design, it combines a wraparound backrest, a generously padded seat, and an elegantly curved metal frame. Its mottled beige tweed upholstery subtly contrasts with its antique copper-finished legs. Much more than just an office chair on casters, Celesta possesses an elegance that allows it to take pride of place in a workspace set up in the heart of the living room. No need to hide your office corner anymore—it becomes an integral part of the decoration!

A ’70s vibe with contemporary finishes

Celesta reinterprets the aesthetics of retro furniture with a lovely lightness. Its backrest, with its rounded contours, cradles the back, while its tubular armrests trace continuous lines around the seat. The metal, finished in antique copper, adds a warm and sophisticated touch without weighing down its silhouette. Padded armrests extend the comfort of this chair.

The mottled beige tweed, with its textured weave and subtle shades, enhances the armchair’s cozy character. Its high resilience foam (28 kg/m³) provides a comfortable seating experience. This combination of soft textile and a metal frame creates an elegant balance, halfway between a decorative Armchair and a functional office chair.

Is the Celesta office armchair height-adjustable?

Yes, the Celesta armchair is a swivel armchair and is height-adjustable via a lever located under the seat. The seat height can be adjusted from 50.5 to 59.5 cm to accommodate different desk heights and body types. Its total height ranges from 83 to 92 cm. Its five-leg base, equipped with Caster wheels, makes it easy to move around and change positions throughout the day.

Can an office armchair with armrests be placed under a desk?

Yes, provided you check the available clearance under the tray. The Celesta’s armrests are between 66 and 76 cm from the floor, depending on the seat adjustment. It is therefore important to compare these dimensions with the clearance under your Desk. Measuring 53 cm wide and 61 cm deep, this compact office armchair fits easily into a workspace set up in a bedroom, living room, or dedicated office.

Is the Celesta armchair suitable for daily use?

Yes, the Celesta combines durable materials with a design intended for regular use. Its 100% polyester tweed upholstery has a Martindale abrasion resistance rating of 40,000 cycles and is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. Its structure incorporates FSC-certified wood, while its metal legs support a maximum load of 150 kg. The armchair is delivered unassembled and requires assembly before use.

With its warm tweed and retro lines, Celesta transforms the home desk into a space that is as elegant as it is inviting. Paired with a dark wood desk, a contemporary console table, or accessories in natural tones, it adds that extra touch of style that makes you want to settle in and enjoy your work.
