Gigi No. 1 Siena Pendant Light: A Warm Design with Retro Accents

Measuring Ø 28 x H 21 cm, the Gigi No. 1 Siena pendant light by Warren & Laetitia combines a graphic silhouette with a deep, warm color palette. The amber-brown and orange tones create a luminous interplay of shades, while the pale pink cable adds a softer contrast. Inspired by the colorful spirit of the ’70s and ’80s, Gigi embraces a retro aesthetic without sacrificing a contemporary design. Its structure consists of three interchangeable elements that can be arranged freely around the Bulb to customize the lamp’s shape to your liking.

A lamp you can freely reconfigure

Modularity is one of Gigi’s most distinctive features. Its three pieces can be moved and reassembled to vary the overlays, volumes, and transparency effects. The pendant is therefore not limited to a single configuration. It becomes an evolving object that can be personalized over time.

In the Siena version, the brown and amber tones lend a warm presence while maintaining the visual lightness characteristic of the collection. The orange enhances the depth of the composition, while the pale pink cable softens the overall look. When the lamp is lit, the translucent parts allow light to filter through and further reveal the variations in color.

3D Printing as an Aesthetic Signature

Warren & Laetitia design and manufacture their light fixtures in their studio in Paris’s 20th arrondissement using3D printers. The material is deposited layer by layer, creating the visible striations on the surface of the various elements. These textures are intentionally accentuated to highlight the manufacturing process rather than conceal it.

This technique can result in slight variations from one piece to another. These variations are inherent to the 3D printing process and contribute to the uniqueness of each Pendant.

A sustainable design conceived from the outset

Warren & Laetitia’s approach combines recycled materials, local manufacturing, and modularity. Gigi is made from recycled and recyclable plastic sourced from France and Europe. In particular, the studio uses rPLA derived from recycled food packaging, cornstarch-based PLA, and rPETG made from recycled plastic bottles.

Manufactured in Paris, the pendant light bears the “Made in Paris” label . Its electrical system is also assembled in the capital by workers with disabilities at the ESAT de la Bièvre. Its modularity extends this approach by allowing users to change its appearance without replacing the light fixture.

Where should you install a 28-cm-diameter pendant?

With its 28-cm diameter, Gigi No. 1 is particularly well-suited for hanging above a small table, in an entryway, or in a bedroom. Its size gives it enough presence to serve as a decorative element in its own right while remaining easy to integrate into a compact space.

It also works very well in clusters. Placing several Gigi pendant lights at different heights creates a more expressive installation, where the sizes, colors, and levels of transparency create a true visual rhythm.

Does the Gigi No. 1 pendant light provide bright lighting?

The Gigi No. 1 is particularly well-suited for creating a decorative, focused light source. It uses an LED bulb E27 with a maximum wattage of 7 W. It is therefore ideal for illuminating a small area, such as above a table, in an entryway, or in a bedroom. In a larger room, it can be complemented by other light sources or installed in multiples to distribute the light more evenly.

Which bulb should you choose for the Gigi pendant light?

The pendant must be used exclusively with an LED bulb E27 rated at a maximum of 7 W. The manufacturer recommends a bulb with a diameter of 6 cm or 9.5 cm, depending on the model. The bulb is not included. Halogen bulbs should not be used, as their heat could warp the plastic components.

With Gigi No. 1 Siena, Warren & Laetitia give amber tones a decidedly contemporary look. On its own, it creates a warm and graphic presence. When paired with other Gigi lamps, it forms a more expressive suspended arrangement, where the material and color are fully revealed under the light.
