Gigi No. 1 Olivia Pendant Light: A graphic design in natural tones

Measuring Ø 28 x H 21 cm, the Gigi No. 1 Olivia pendant light by Warren & Laetitia strikes a subtle balance between color, transparency, and modularity. This version combines different shades of green with a touch of lilac, while the cable and pale yellow ceiling rose add a luminous and delicate touch. Inspired by the free-spirited and colorful vibe of the ’70s and ’80s, Gigi maintains a contemporary presence thanks to its simple forms and highly graphic design. Its three-piece, interchangeable construction allows you to freely adjust its silhouette around the Bulb.

A lamp you can customize to your liking

Gigi was designed as an adaptable light fixture. Its three elements can be moved and reassembled to vary the layering, volumes, and transparency effects. The pendant light is therefore not limited to a single configuration. This modularity offers true freedom of design and allows its appearance to evolve with the interior.

In the Olivia version, soft, deep greens create a natural and soothing atmosphere. Lilac introduces a more unexpected nuance, while the pale yellow Cable adds light and visually lightens the composition. A subtle color combination that gives the lamp character without making it difficult to integrate.

3D Printing as an Aesthetic Signature

Warren & Laetitia design and manufacture their light fixtures in their studio in Paris’s 20th arrondissement using3D printers. The material is deposited layer by layer, revealing regular striations on the surface of the pieces. This texture is intentionally accentuated and becomes a true visual signature of the light fixture.

This technique can result in slight variations from one piece to another. These variations are a direct reflection of the manufacturing process used and contribute to the uniqueness of each Pendant.

A sustainable design conceived from the outset

Warren & Laetitia’s approach combines recycled materials, local manufacturing, and modularity. Gigi is made from recycled and recyclable plastic sourced from France and Europe. In particular, the studio uses rPLA derived from recycled food packaging, cornstarch-based PLA, and rPETG made from recycled plastic bottles.

The pendant light is manufactured in Paris and bears the “Made in Paris” label . Its electrical system is also assembled in the capital by workers with disabilities at the ESAT de la Bièvre. Its modular design extends this approach by allowing users to transform its appearance without replacing the light fixture.

Where should you install a 28-cm-diameter pendant?

With its dimensions of Ø 28 x H 21 cm, Gigi No. 1 is particularly well-suited for placement above a small table, in an entryway, or in a bedroom. Its size makes a strong enough statement to serve as a decorative element in its own right, while remaining easy to integrate into a compact space.

It also works very well when grouped together. Placing several Gigi pendant lights at different heights creates a more expressive arrangement, where shapes, colors, and volumes complement one another.

Does the Gigi No. 1 pendant light provide bright lighting?

The Gigi No. 1 is particularly well-suited for creating a decorative, focused light source. It uses an LED bulb E27 with a maximum wattage of 7 W. It is therefore well-suited for lighting a small area, such as above a table, in an entryway, or in a bedroom. In a larger room, it can be complemented by other light sources or installed in multiples to distribute the light more evenly.

Which bulb should you choose for the Gigi pendant light?

The pendant must be used exclusively with an LED bulb E27 rated at 7 W or less. The manufacturer recommends a bulb with a diameter of 6 cm or 9.5 cm, depending on the model. The bulb is not included. Halogen bulbs should not be used, as their heat could warp the plastic components.
