Description
Treat yourself to an iconic ORIGINAL by Vitra. An original will always retain its value. It will be with you all your life and will outlive you, being passed on to the next generation. The Swiss company Vitra is the only company authorized to manufacture Charles & Ray Eames products for Europe: if you are in possession of an Eames product made by Vitra, you can be sure that it is an original.
Charles & Ray Eames are among the most important design personalities of the 20th century. Their work includes furniture, film, photography and exhibitions.
Designed in 1969, the Soft Pad Flesh is one of the great classics of 20th-century design history. The sewn-in cushions provide an interesting contrast to the slim Aluminium profiles. The weight-adjustable reclining mechanism offers great comfort, in combination with the thick, soft upholstery. The seat adapts to the contours of the body and is extremely comfortable.
Vitra produces Soft Pad Flesh in a high quality that has remained unchanged for decades. This quality enables Fabrica to offer a thirty-year warranty on all products in the Aluminium range (register your product on the dedicated website to benefit from the extended warranty).
The EA 217 is an armchair with a swivel seat, a 5-star base with casters and a medium-high backrest. It features a reclining mechanism that can be adapted to the user's weight, providing optimum comfort. The seat height is infinitely adjustable via gas springs.
