Vekla Tall Storage Boxes: The Charm of Natural Wood by Ferm Living
With their slender silhouette and natural wood finish, Ferm Living’s Vekla Tall storage boxes combine simplicity, elegance, and functionality. Their clean lines, softened by rounded corners, highlight the beauty of the poplar plywood. The visible assembly details add a handcrafted touch to these everyday accessories. Sold in pairs, they help organize small items while adding a warm touch to your Decoration.
Folded Wood as an Aesthetic Signature
The uniqueness of the Vekla boxes lies in their construction. Made from FSC-certified poplar plywood, they are crafted from a thin sheet of wood that is folded and rolled to form their sides. Rather than hiding the joints, Ferm Living chooses to highlight them. An exposed joint, accentuated by small fasteners, thus becomes a true decorative detail. Their natural wood finish reveals subtle variations in tone and highlights the authenticity of this artisanal-inspired design.
What can you store in Ferm Living’s Vekla Tall boxes?
Thanks to their vertical design, the Vekla Tall boxes are particularly practical for organizing small items vertically. At a desk, they hold pencils, supplies, and stationery accessories. In a bedroom, they’re perfect for storing jewelry, personal accessories, or small items you’d like to keep out of sight. Their lids help maintain a tidy look.
Can the two Vekla boxes be nested?
Yes, the two Vekla Tall boxes are designed to nest inside one another for easy storage when not in use. They can also be placed side by side to create two separate storage spaces. The large model measures 13.8 x 13.8 x H 21.5 cm. Its slim proportions help maximize available space on a shelf or Desk.
Where should you place the Vekla storage boxes?
The decorative Vekla wooden boxes naturally find their place on a bookcase, console table, chest of drawers, or desk. Their natural hue pairs particularly well with mineral-based materials, ecru Textiles, and Scandinavian- or Japandi-inspired interiors. When paired with ceramic objects or accessories in earthy tones, they contribute to a soft and harmonious arrangement.
With Vekla, Ferm Living transforms storage into a true aesthetic pleasure. This pair of boxes is as practical as it is decorative, celebrating the beauty of wood and inspiring you to pay attention to every detail of your home.
