Vekla Storage Boxes: The Elegance of Bent Wood by Ferm Living

With their clean lines and dark Pecan finish, Ferm Living’s Vekla storage boxes transform everyday storage solutions into true decorative objects. Their rectangular shape with rounded corners showcases unique woodworking craftsmanship, while the exposed fasteners lend them a handcrafted charm. Sold in pairs, they combine minimalist aesthetics with functionality to organize your home with elegance.

Bent Wood as a Signature Aesthetic

The uniqueness of the Vekla boxes lies in their construction. Made from FSC-certified poplar plywood, they are crafted from a thin sheet of wood that is bent and rolled to form their sides. Rather than hiding the joints, Ferm Living chooses to highlight them. An exposed joint, accentuated by small metal fasteners, thus becomes a true decorative detail. Their dark Pecan painted finish, with warm brown tones, highlights the understated elegance of this artisanal-inspired design.

What can you store in Ferm Living’s Vekla boxes?

The Vekla storage boxes with lids allow you to keep many small items out of sight. In an office, they hold stationery, accessories, and supplies. In a living room, they keep remote controls, cables, and everyday items organized. They’re also useful in a bedroom for organizing small personal accessories.

Can the two Vekla boxes nest inside each other?

Yes, the two Vekla Long boxes are designed to nest inside one another, making them easy to store when not in use. They can also be placed side by side to create two separate storage spaces. The large model measures 37.5 x 16.5 x H 12 cm. Their elongated shape is particularly practical for organizing items while making the most of available space.

Where can you place the Vekla storage boxes?

The decorative Vekla wooden boxes naturally find their place on a shelf, a console table, a dresser, or a desk. Their dark pecan color pairs elegantly with light woods, travertine, and natural textiles. In a contemporary interior, they add a warm and authentic touch. They can also be left on display, as their refined aesthetic fully complements the Decoration.

With Vekla, Ferm Living proves that even the simplest accessories can have character. This pair of boxes is as practical as it is decorative, inviting you to organize your home with care and appreciate the beauty of everyday objects.
