Vekla Box wood red Square / Set of 2 - Plywood

Vekla Square Storage Boxes: The Art of Storage by Ferm Living

With their clean lines and Oxyde red color, Ferm Living’s Vekla Square storage boxes transform small everyday items into a decorative arrangement full of character. Their square silhouette with delicately rounded corners showcases unique woodworking craftsmanship, while the exposed fasteners add a handcrafted touch. Sold in pairs, they combine functionality with minimalist aesthetics to organize your home in style.

Bent Wood as a Signature Design Element

The uniqueness of the Vekla boxes lies in their construction. Made from FSC-certified poplar plywood, they are crafted from a thin sheet of wood that is bent and rolled to form their sides. Rather than hiding the joints, Ferm Living chooses to highlight them. An exposed joint, accentuated by small fasteners, thus becomes a true decorative detail. Their Oxyde red painted finish, with warm, earthy tones, highlights the authentic character of this artisanal-inspired design.

What can you store in Ferm Living’s Vekla boxes?

The Vekla storage boxes with lids help you organize small items while keeping them out of sight. In a bedroom, they can hold jewelry, watches, and personal accessories. On a desk, they’re perfect for keeping stationery and small office supplies together. They’re also useful in an entryway for storing keys and other everyday items.

Can the two Vekla boxes be nested?

Yes, the two Vekla Square boxes are designed to nest inside one another for easy storage when not in use. They can also be placed side by side to create two separate storage spaces. The large model measures 13.8 x 13.8 x H 12.2 cm. Their compact size makes it easy to place them on a shelf, a Chest of drawers, or a Console.

How can you incorporate Oxyde red boxes into your decoration?

Oxyde red adds a warm and expressive touch to any interior. This earthy shade pairs particularly well with light oak, dark wood, Travertine, or ecru textiles. In a minimalist decoration, the Vekla boxes add a subtle pop of color. Paired with ceramic pieces or accessories in natural tones, they create a harmonious ensemble.

With Vekla, Ferm Living proves that even the simplest accessories can have character. This pair of boxes is as practical as it is decorative, inviting you to organize your home with care and appreciate the beauty of everyday objects.
